Italian coachbuilding companies Maggiora and Varrozzeria Viotti have teamed up to revive the Willys Interlagos, a classic 1960s Brazilian sports car. The 2015 Willys AW 380 Berlinetta has been introduced during the Bologna Motor Show, which takes place between December 6 and December 2014 this year.

Powered by a 3.8-liter bi-turbo six-cylinder engine which outputs 610 bhp (455 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft), the vehicle features a lightweight carbon fiber body, which means it tips the scales at an impressively low 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg). The rear-wheel drive sports car comes with a six-speed gearbox and goes from 0 to 62 mph (100 km) in a lightning-fast 2.7 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 212 mph (340 km/h). According to the manufacturers, it will eat up 18.9 liters / 100 km (12.4 mpg US or 14.9 mpg UK) in the city and 9.2 liters / 100 km (25.5 mpg US or 30.7 mpg UK) on the highway.

The 2015 Willys AW 380 Berlinetta will be produced as a limited edition comprising just 110 units, which are to be manufactured starting next month in Turin. The price tag of one of these is set at €380,000 ($473,000).
