Completed in 2010, the Hillgate Street Residence, located in Hillgate Village, part of London’s Notting Hill district, is a modern four level property designed by Seth Stein Architects.

The building, set behind a traditional Notting Hill façade, provides accommodation on four floors, arranged around a courtyard that steps back on each level. The residence is constructed according to the highest standards with regards to technology and materials, enabling it to achieve a very high environmental rating, with its incorporation of photovoltaic glazing and solar panels, in addition to rainwater harvesting and high thermal insulation.

The property consists of three main bedroom suites and another suite for guests or housekeepers. There are two separate living areas for both formal and less formal living. The upper level has living, dining and kitchen areas and from there a separate staircase leads to a study linked to the master bedroom. On the other hand, the lower level is a more versatile space, suited for both entertainment and exercise, and it also has a plunge pool. Other facilities include a garage, a laundry room and four terraces.

The Hillgate Street Residence for sale for the price of £8.25 million, or about $13.5 million.
