Renowned German camera manufacturer Leica is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the unveiling of another special edition: the Leica D-Lux 6 Edition 100 – this year’s second such release, following the Leica S Edition 100. The Leica D-Lux 6 edition features a compact camera, a stylish camera case in matching genuine black leather, carrying strap and wrist strap. Another distinguishing characteristic is the engraving of the centennial logo on the camera body, as well as on its case, so buyers will also remember they are, in a way, part of Leica history.
From a technical standpoint, the model boasts a high-performance lends and a 1.77’’ CMOS sensor (particularly large for a compact camera). The Leica D-Lux 6 offers a lot of setting to choose from, including automatic mode, manual setting options and even has full-HD video recording capabilities. Also available are a series of optional accessories, such as an electronic viewfinder, which photographers will want to advantage of.
Already available on the market, only 5,000 Leica D-Lux 6 Edition 100 cameras will be released worldwide.
