The EICMA motorcycle show which recently concluded in Milan was a great opportunity for the established brands to show off their latest models, but also for the revealing of whole host of interesting concepts. This is precisely what Austrian design company KISKA has done with the release of a couple of Husqvarna 401 motorcycle concepts.

Dubbed the 401 VITPILEN and 401 SVARTPILEN, the two models were inspired by the brand’s very own 1950s vintage designs. You won’t find any flashy features on either of them, as both bikes boast a simple, elegant design, and modern design. Speaking of similarities, the 401 VITPILEN and 401 SVARTPILEN are powered by a similar 400cc water-cooled engine outputting 43 horsepower and both weigh less than 300 pounds.

At this time, the differences between the two seem to be purely cosmetic. And let’s not forget, KISKA has not released any information that would indicate if and when it decides to release commercial versions of the pair. Whether this happens or the bikes were just something the Austrian company made to create a bit of a buzz in Milan remains to be seen, perhaps in the coming months.
