To this day, you might think we’ve seen it all from Karl Lagerfeld, but the brilliant German fashion designer always manages to surprise us with something totally unexpected, like this bespoke coloring kit, that was imagined in collaboration with Faber-Castell.
Karl Largerfeld is well-known for his imaginative genius and his marvelous way with colors, that’s why his sketches should always benefit from the best coloring kit out there. But the iconic designer thought he could redefine even the coloring kit, that’s why he came up with his own set of drawing tools, in a limited edition package called Karlbox.
The kit includes 350 tools for drawing and painting, including the Faber-Castell’s Albrecht Dürer pencils, Polychromos color pencils, Pitt ink pens and Castell 9000 graphite pencils; brushes, a foldable cup, erasers and sharpeners are also part of the package, while a stunning black cabinet packs everything in a comfortable and practical way.
Only 2,500 kits like these have been produced already, available exclusively at Faber-Castell stores, Karl Lagerfeld boutiques and at Harrods in London. But if you’d have to love coloring a lot if you want to purchase one of these sets, because each kit costs €2,500 ($2,850), which is not exactly what we’d call cheap.
If fashion’s your game and colors are the way, having this icon’s drawing kit might just give you the edge you’ve always been looking for. Don’t forget talent is an important part of the process, while an objective opinion will help you get ahead. Now, is anyone else thinking about beautiful models yet, or is it just me?
