There many wondrous resorts scattered among the Maldives, but few are as impressive Jumeirah Dhevanafushi.

This stunning high-end retreat is actually divided between two islands, highlighting in a sense just how secluded the place is (you’re not only far away from civilization, but also from half of the resort itself!). The mesmerizing turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean surrounding the Jumeirah Dhevanafushi feature colorful coral reefs, offering guests an unforgettable setting for diving, snorkeling, and a whole host of water sports.

Meanwhile, on land, there are 22 luxurious Island villas each with its own private stretch of beach and pool, as well as 16 well-appointed Ocean villas located right above the water, with steps leading directly into the surf. The Jumeirah Dhevanafushi also boasts no fewer than three fine restaurants, in addition to a cocktail bar ideally set to allow patrons to enjoy the breathtaking Maldivian sunset.

And if all of this wasn’t enough, there is also the great Talise Spa, where one can retire for a rejuvenating treatment and connect on an even deeper level with this truly enchanted place.
