The Sonus Faber Venere S – S for Signature – are the Italian brand’s latest and most impressive loudspeakers yet. The new flagship of its Venere collection (that was introduced three years ago), these speakers are a stunning example of precision and craftsmanship, the result of 35 years of experience in the field.
The three-way, floor-standing loudspeakers will cost you between $5,000 and $5,500, depending on their finish. Hand-assembled, these unique pieces of technology will perform incredibly well in a dedicated music-listening room, or in the privacy of your very own home theater.
Three proprietary woofers with aluminum cones and a silk-dome tweeter are isolated from the rest of the drivers, resulting in a crystal clear sound.
The Venere S ports directly downwards for additional purity, by preventing air movement from interrupting the sound waves. In complete accord with the Sonus Faber legacy, the Venere S speakers also feature impeccable styling.
Inspired by the shape of a lyre, the eye-catching aesthetics of the speakers feature no parallel surfaces, thus minimizing resonance. With a cabinet carefully tuned to ensure ideal sound projection, the Venere S comes in black, white, or wood and will be available this October.
