Aston Martin has done again, making everyone in the world smile as they get a glimpse of their ravishing Vulcan hypercar meeting the iconic Avro Vulcan bomber that inspired its name. The last remaining airworthy Avro Vulcan is up for retirement, but it made a special flyover over the Aston Martin Vulcan at the Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire before going away for good.
Piloted by Martin Withers DFC, the airplane will surely continue to be remembered courtesy of Aston Martin’s incredible new sports car.
According to Aston Martin CEO, Dr Andy Palmer, the Avro Vulcan represented the best starting point for designing the company’s most extreme car. That’s why it was a unique experience and a special moment in the brand’s history, when the aeronautic legend has been united under the clear-blue-sky with the future of Aston Martin.
Avro Vulcan tribute aside, the Aston Martin Vulcan is a menacing-looking ride, to say the least – just perfect to make its attack on the world’s most extreme hypercars.
