The renowned German car tuners from Hamann have done it again, making our day (and weekend) a lot better by revealing a new ridiculously cool project. The first details about their radical package for the BMW M2 are finally out in the open, with the popular sporty coupe looking more impressive than ever right now.
The Hamann BMW M2 has a ravishing new look, with more aggressive aerodynamics, and even more power under the hood. Unique carbon fiber components are now complementing the M2’s body lines, including a fresh front spoiler lip, with an optional central carbon fiber insert just beneath the grille, new side sills, with wingtips in front of the rear arches, as well as a new Hamann spoiler and diffuser package at the back.
The German tuners have also equipped the BMW M2 with an optional stainless-steel sports exhaust, complemented by quad tailpipes and decorated with carbon fiber or anodized trim pieces, that should make this car roar like a real beast when you push the throttle.
Hiding in the engine bay is a tweaked 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that now develops 420 hp 530 Nm of torque, a bit more than the standard 365 hp and 500 Nm of torque. An additional control unit was designed to optimize the ignition map, while the six-gear manual transmission or an optional seven-gear dual-clutch transmission allow for a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just a mere 4.2 seconds.
Please note that Hamann offers a warranty on all of their products and upgrades, with the pickiest of you also able to improve upon the cabin’s trim.
