World-renowned luxury brand Giorgio Armani is set to expand its Couture Edition line, part of the Armani/Privé Collection, with the addition of a new fragrance inspired by the Armani/Privé & Lumière apparel couture collection.
The Italian company’s Spring/Summer 2014 couture collection is characterized by layering generous volumes and contrasts between sheer and opaque fabrics and even though the hot Summer months are fast approaching, Armani is still exploring the theme of Ombre & Lumière (Shadow and Light) with the creation of an exquisite new perfume.
Armani/Privé Ombre & Lumière is, similarly to the three fragrances in the Couture Editions Line, based on iris notes, which are on this occasion accentuated by Jasminum sambac. Also detectable are notes of bergamot, freesia and ambroxan, as well as musk extracts. The fragrance comes in an elegant flacon with a sculpture-like stopper made from smooth, polished resin in blue and purple tones.
The Armani/Privé Ombre & Lumière perfume will be released on May 20 as a limited edition of just 120 numbered flacons which will be sold exclusively at a few specially chosen Giorgio Armani boutiques, as well as at some high-end department stores.
