Chateau Elan Winery

We honestly don’t know who could resist an intoxicating mix of French manor luxury and Southern hospitality, that’s why Chateau Elan Winery & Resort seems to be the best place to spend the weekend right now. I can already taste the fine wine, and this mesmerizing retreat is just the small corner of French countryside where you could enjoy it all.

Located a short drive away from Atlanta and sitting atop 3,500 acres of land, this place shows off all the mesmerizing details and hallmarks of a French country estate. It all started back in 1981, when the first vineyards have been planted here, and since then this place has grown into one of the region’s most spectacular resorts, where guests can enjoy the best things life has to offer.

Apart from the delicious wines and the world-class amenities, one unique feature is Chateau Elan’s 63 holes of championship golf, that will prove to be a real treat for anyone. If you don’t know how to play the game yet, don’t worry, an on-site Golf School is on hand to help with that and give you a few pointers.

Not to be forgotten, the resort’s European-style Spa is the ideal spot for romantic adventures or a simple, serene experience. Offering 14 renovated overnight suites, nestled inside a large mansion which overlooks a sparkling lake, Chateau Elan plans to tease potential visitors and even excite their pallets within its own restaurant.

No complete dining experience could be completed without the proper drink, which is why The Winery – initially opened in 1984 – allows people to sample one of the in-house labels and, better yet, pick up a few bottles from the store to remember this location by.

About Victor Baker

Victor has always been a big fan of cars, which is why he’s so proud to call himself a genuine petrolhead these days. His love actually stemmed from his father, who was an automotive engineer. Today, he loves to write down everything that comes to mind, car-related or not, and when he really gets down to it, he pretty much becomes one with his laptop.
