Chopard has presented the new Imperiale ladies collection of watches designed for women of classical and refined tastes at a dinner in the Gritti Palace in Venice. The timepieces from this collection are stylish and feminine but simultaneously provide both a strong character and timeless discretion.
The Imperiale conceals a wealth of rare and precious details, many of them being entirely redesigned from the previous collection. The delicately engraved mother of pearl dial base is encircled by Roman numerals, the hands are finely curved and the lotus-shaped crown is fitted on a case middle with uncluttered sides. The lugs resembling antique columns are adorned with tiny amethyst briolette-cut cabochons for the rose gold versions and blue sapphires for the white gold models.
The new Chopard Imperiale is available in sizes from 36 mm to 40 mm in diameter and it could be ordered in diamond-set or all-polished, in steel, 18k rose gold or 18k white gold with either a metal bracelet or a leather strap. The Imperiale also offers a choice of a quartz, self winding or self-winding chronograph movement.
