Here’s a great acquisition for the timekeeping enthusiasts with no hair under their arms – a true stunner, the Happy Sport Diamantissimo is one of the epitomes of Swiss luxury watchmaking, the latest coming from the worldwide famous brand watches and jewelry brand Chopard.

This exquisite timepiece was meant as a tribute to the Happy Sport series, to which it belongs, which is now celebrating two decades of existence. At the first glance, this piece is a true dazzler. I really wish I’d have seen more of these up till now, as this is the perfect mix between gemstones and timekeeping. I stand here looking at it and I can’t help being mesmerized by its glitter, by the exquisitely finished manufacture. No wonder it wears such a famous name.

Earlier versions of the Happy Sport series were made, yes, but none reach as far as Diamantissimo does. It genuinely pulverizes the border that delimits Chopard’s fine watchmaking and high-end jewelry manufacture. It was crafted from 18-carat white gold and encrusted with a mind-boggling 958 baguette-cut diamonds and 1,978 brilliant-cut diamonds. This thing of beauty and excellence weighs an astounding total of 65 carats.

Inside it beats a Chopard Manufacture L.U.C. 96.17-L movement, while the case, dial and bracelet links were garnished with an “invisible” setting technique which eliminates any eventual gaps. In addition, the Diamantissimo comes with rhodium-plated minute and hour-hands, 30 meters of water resistance, facetted glare-proofed sapphire crystal, transparent caseback with transferred anniversary inscription and central display of the minutes and hours.

According to Forbes, the Chopard Happy Sport Diamantissimo can be yours at 1.5 million Swiss Francs or approximately $1.58 million.
