Located in the enchanting Portuguese town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Tivoli Palácio de Seteais is a five-star hotel which offers all the modern luxuries the discerning traveler could ask for, while also maintaining its 18th century charm.

Built during the 1780s for the Dutch consul, the building was acquired by the government by the middle of the past century, and has been a hotel since 1954, but neither time nor the change of ownership has altered its palatial features. The hotel offers 30 rooms, which includes a series of Collection and Superior Collection Suites, as well as a sumptuous Classic Suite. Guests can dine like royalty at the Restaurante Seteais, or enjoy the best panoramic views in Sintra with a nice drink in hand from the hotel’s bar.

As you’ve probably figured from the town’s description, Tivoli Palácio de Seteais isn’t the only stunning structure around – it is, however, a place which allows easy access to most of the local landmarks. Itself surrounded by magnificent gardens, the hotel boasts excellent views of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace, and is also within easy reach of Sintra’s multiple golf courses.

With its historical charm and aristocratic elegance, the Tivoli Palácio de Seteais Hotel is without a doubt one of Portugal’s most stylish and delightful destinations.
