Bulgarian tuning company Vilner which made some headlines in late 2013 with the release of their first prominent project dubbed the Bullshark. The company intends to follow up on that success with the development and unveiling of the new BMW Stormtrooper.
Following the recent release of the first images featuring this intriguing convertible, more details regarding the car have now been released. Whereas Vilner’s previous project was based on the 645i, the Stormtrooper is based on the M6 E64 model. It comes with a V10 5.0-liter engine which churns out 507 hp (373 kW) and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque.
Aesthetic modifications include the pearl white finish and new hoods, side panels, and bumpers – all of which are entirely handmade. Also part of the package are new two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels, as well as new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. The interior is finished in two-tone brown-white leather with carbon fiber details on the dashboard.
Vilner expects to create about 10 examples of the Stormtrooper. Further details are to be announced in the near future.
