BMW Concept C Scooter

BMW Motorcycles have recently presented their latest  concept on two wheels, dubbed as the Concept C Super Scooter, in an attempt to enter the scooter market. BMW says it will soon release two gas-powered versions of this scooter and an electric version is also in the works.

Details are very limited about the engine of the Concept C but BMW states that it will be an inline two-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and enough power and torque to place this concept in the top range of the large scooter segment.

The design of this new scooter concept was inspired from other BMW motorcycles with the front with design cues from the S1000RR for example and the bash plates and air intakes from the GS bikes line. The C from the concept name stands for Commuter probably because this scooter was designed for people who look for a stylish, easy and fast way to commute on short distances avoiding traffic jams.
