We’ve recently displayed a state of the art Ferrari-themed garage, which, I guess, our readers enjoyed, and today we have another gorgeous Ferrari themed object – a custom made piano inspired by a famous automotive legend, the 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa.
The famous designer and master technician of pianos Justin Elliott, has decided to push his brand, ResInno, further, into the world of themed musical instruments. The brand has been manufacturing top notch pianos for more than 100 years now, as Mr. Elliott has finally manifested his wish to improve the aesthetics, beauty and sound quality of his products.
He has reportedly served as master piano technician for fabled names like Elton John and Alicia Keys, as his modifications, including exotic wood essences and hand manufacture, bring his works of art one step further into exquisiteness. The upgraded parts of his pianos include musician benches, music racks, pedal lyres and piano legs.
An interesting piece in his collection is the superb Grand Rossa, a piano inspired from the 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa. This particular one was reportedly described as the raciest design by ResInno, as it features gorgeous curvy lines that compose slick semi-helixes, in addition to a prolonged arch which appears to be flowing through the piano. The whole contraption features Ferrari’s unique red paint named Rossa Corsa, which further proves its connection to the famous supercar manufacturer.
Another idea that has drawn our attention is the Helio design, also embodied into one of ResInno’s pianos, the Helio, which is supposed to be able to support 1,000 lbs of weight, while at the same time conferring the piano an elegant and warm appearance. This particular model was intricately manufactured from exotic woods and then hand finished in a unique mix of brass powders and copper.
The third piece we’re going to display here is the Royal Ebony piano, which perfectly fits royal figures. With its solid brass knobs and gold detailing on the piano pedal lyre, music desk and bench, the Royal Ebony can be purchased at a whopping $33,000.
