The new model of the Audi A3 was recently introduced to the public and the German tuners from ABT have already came up with a pretty impressive upgrade package for the new A3 designed to make it look a bit sportier and also faster. The car features quite a few discrete visual elements, like the new front spoiler that boasts a small lip, new front grille, new rear spoiler and remade side skirts.
Furthermore, the ABT AS3 2013 Audi A3 received two double end mufflers plus a set of DR light alloy wheels, which are currently available in 19 or 18 inch sizes. These make the vehicle look even more stylish than it normally is.
Two performance packages are currently during development, the first one increases the power output of the 2.0-liter TD engine by 30 HP, from 170 to 200 HP and 147 kW, while the second one is based on the 2.0-liter TFSI motor, raising the output from 200 HP to 250 HP and 184 kW.
In terms of handling, the upgraded version is planned to be equipped with a special brake kit with 345 mm discs and a coilover suspension.
