Scheduled to premiere on the 14th of February on the occasion of the Miami International Boat Show, the 42 feet long Cigarette Huntress is the third luxury boat to be manufactured by the magnificent duo represented by Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing Team. The first two where the 2010 SLS AMG-inspired 46-foot Rider and the 2012 C63 AMG Black Series-inspired 50 feet long Marauder.
The Huntress is a true embodiment of everything that means revolution in terms of sailing. It represents the growth of the US market, the will for more comfort and space, alongside the continuously growing level of engine performance. It sports the performance hull of Cigarette Racing, a large cabin and a deck which is actively designed for entertainment.
Furthermore, similarly to the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG SUV, the boat is able to handle all sorts of water conditions, from rough to mirror-like surfaces, due to the strong and compact structure it boasts with. And there’s the shape which, according to Huntress’ designers, ensures agility, speed and easy handling.
What’s extremely nice about this staggering boat is that it has been garnished with AMG badging, a luxurious deck, a specially designed and built T-top, billet-laden helm station, console, luxuriously and comfortably appointed cabin, as well as diamond-stitched leather seats. In fact, the dimensions of the cabin aren’t really that large, but it is endowed with a day bed and galley.
The propulsion unit of this magnificent boat is incredible – it consists of five Mercury Racing Verado 350SCi engines, each of them developing 350 HP (263 kW). Of course, the top speed reached by the boat is equally astounding – 125 km/h (78 mph), given the fact that it measures 42 feet in length and weighs around 8,600 kg (18,900 lbs).
