What we have here is the first Romanian supercar, the roaring and so-called Black Flacon SBC-TT1750. Designed and built by Black Falcon Cars, this mind-boggling piece of engineering perfection is based on the Ultima GTR and delivers more than impressive numbers.

We’ll have to change this a bit – this is not just a supercar, this is a true hypercar – it’s powerful crazy, sounds extremely gorgeous and nice, and probably drives as well. The fabulous SBC-TT1750 delivers, wait for it, 1215 HP if running on 98 octane fuel. If the driver chooses racing fuel, the output of the car gets boosted to a dazzling 1,750 HP!!! This leaves the entire array of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Bugattis, SSCs and practically everything else behind in a cloud of choking but sweaty dust.

The muscle is delivered by a 7.0-liter small block Chevy V8 engine with twin 72 mm turbines, delivering 1,215 HP at 5,850 RPM and 1,400 Nm of torque at 5,000 RPM. The 115 octane fuel is enough to allow it to generate 1,750 HP at 5,650 RPM. According to the official description, the Black Falcon SBC-TT1750 sprints from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 402 km/h (250 mph). The stopping time from 62 mph (100 km/h) is extremely abrupt, just like the acceleration, in just 3.6 seconds. The Chevy plant is linked to a transaxle 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Measurements-wise, this car boasts with 4,000 mm (157.4 in) of length, 1,070 mm (41.44 in) of height and 1,850 mm (72.83 in) of width. The wheelbase measures a decent 2,560 mm. In dry mode, this staggering vehicle tips the scales at 1,221 kg (2,300 lbs). It is built upon a space frame chassis, while the body is crafted from 1.5 mm NS4 aluminium alloy sheets. The chassis further boasts support struts which eliminate the inertia movement of the engine block and provide enough rigidity for the driver to be able to handle it properly.

Now, the engine – the Chevy V8 is based on a Brodix SBC block manufactured especially for this model by Nelson Racing Engines from the USA. Black Falcon Cars specialists have developed the TBFC-6M transaxle transmission based on a gearbox from the Porsche GT3. Although the car is overall based on the Ultima GTR, Black Flacon Cars has had to modify the rear section of the chassis to fit the respectable turbocharged intercooled engine along with the gearbox. Furthermore, the car is equipped with two-way adjustable Ohlins TTX shock absorbers, pushrods, sway bars and double unequal length wishbones, while, to provide more comfort, Black Falcon specialists have developed a specially designed sway bar system for both the rear and front axles.

Don’t for one moment expect the cabin to be coming from a Formula 1 car. No, in fact it is garnished with newly in-house developed iBFC touchscreen system, Alcantara and leather trims, as well as gold plated parts. The 8-inch screen is said to provide a high quality connection between the car and the driver. In addition, the car’s electrical system boasts solid state digital semiconductor boards which eliminate the need for unreliable relays or fuses. Coming with two operating modes, the CANbus operated multimedia system provides all sorts of telemetric data. While in City mode, the driver can check on the speed and turn signals, while in Race mode, the system shows pressure, temperature, G-force information and RPM.

In the end, this marvelous car can be used either for roaming through city streets or on the racetrack. If you’re using it on the streets, it can be fitted with Michelin PS-XL tires, but if you demand the most of performance it can deliver, better opt for DOT slick tires. The Black Falcon SBC-TT1750 is built entirely by hand in Romania, comes with a 1-year warranty and 7,000 km/4,375 miles of service intervals.
