If memory serves, FAB Design have launched their Terso body kit for the McLaren MP4-12C last year, during March, at Geneva. Unlike the one we’re featuring today, for the Spider version, the previous was designed for the Coupé. It is equally stunning, equally valuable and technologically correct!

This orange MP4-12C has debuted at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon, dressed in a superb body kit which encompasses updated side air intakes, side skirts, rear bumper, larger air intakes and diffuser. The car also features a brand new rear spoiler which has been mounted on top of the standard unit. Similarly to the coupé version, there’s a front splitter mounted below the windscreen.

Furthermore, the gorgeous vehicles sits upon a brand new set of FAB-Design Evolution forged wheels, measuring 20 inches in diameter, wrapped in Dunlop SP SportMaxx rubbers. A new stainless steel sports exhaust system roars under the car, alongside a three-chamber carbon tail pipe. These two additions, alongside additional tweaks to the ECU, raise the maximum output of the engine from the stock 616 HP (460 kW) to 680 HP (507 kW).

So, considering all these, the McLaren MP4-12C Spider Terso is able to sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in around 3 seconds up to a maximum speed of 213 mph (343 km/h). According to FAB Design, just 10 of these will be manufactured.
