German coachbuilder Binz has unveiled a stretched six-door conversion of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift (we should note that, despite the similar names, there’s no relation between the two companies).

A few years ago, in May 2010, Binz extended the E-Class (W212) by adding a couple of rear door. Now, it is doing the same for the modified model. The figures are as follows: lengthwise, the car has been stretched by 1110 mm to 5979 mm, while the wheelbase has risen from 2873 mm to 3985 mm. Owing to the use of fiber-reinforced composite materials, the weight of the vehicle has only been increased by 551 lbs (less than 250 kg).

Depending on the middle and rear seat configuration, the car is available as either a six or an eight-passenger model. Binz can also install consoles between the middle and rear seats along with a multi-zone climate control system for all three rows of seats.

The six-door E-Class conversion by Binz is available in E220, E250 CDI, E350 4MATIC and E500 versions.
