Como Castle

The charming medieval castle you’re going to see right now is located just a couple of miles away from the beautiful Italian town of Como, dating back all the way to 1149. That means this castle is 867 years old as we speak, but that doesn’t mean it’s not amazing – on the contrary, it makes it even more appealing.

Standing tall above the renowned Via Regina route near Lake Como, this mesmerizing piece of history has been renovated back in 1987, only to impress everyone in the 21st century with its magnificent well-preserved architecture.

The castle has been converted into a lovely 4-star hotel, spanning over 12,000 square meters and showing off 70 rooms, 50 parking spaces and a newly renovated spa with terraces. It also sits on a massive plot of 80,000 square meters of land, but the best thing is that you can have it all, for a cool $16.5 million.

You could keep running it as a hotel, or if you fancy living like a king, you could transform it into your own private castle, right next to Lake Como. Apart from its stunning accommodations, the hotel also features a completely restored restaurant, offering unique experiences.

Speaking of experiences, a helicopter landing port has been installed for those of you who think vehicles are a poor man’s means of transportation. Owning a secluded castle in one of Italy’s wealthiest areas is always a good idea, not to mention a sound investment… are you in?
