Vaughn Gittin Jr. has managed to surprise us with his Formula Drift contender for 2013 – a mind-blowing 2014 Ford Mustang RTR.

First of all, the car is extremely lightweight for its size, tipping the scales at only 1,315 kg (2,900 lbs). Secondly, it develops a fantastic 845 HP (630 kW), which helps us in shaping an idea regarding the Mustang’s performance. Furthermore, the car was gifted with the Monster Energy livery with design influences from the WWI dazzle-camo battle ships. The body kit is crafted from carbon fiber and comes with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels.

Let’s get techy now – this Mustang has received a 4-speed dog-box transmission, 5-inch Magnaflow racing muffler, 6-point Takata harness, custom clutch and Recaro seats. It was put together by Autosport Dynamics and is said to be racing on the 12th-13th of April during the inaugural race of California’s 2013 Formula Drift in Long Beach.
