Parmigiani and Bugatti are celebrating their 10 years of partnership with the release of a series of unique watches during this week’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. One of these is the intriguing Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe.
Based on the Type 370 timepiece designed as a ‘driver’s watch’, the Mythe features a lateral time display, so as to be easily visible while the hand is on the steering wheel. The dial, with its stripes (as well as the initials of both companies) is reminiscent of the unmistakable Bugatti grille.
The Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe is powered by an in-house PF370 manually wound movement beating at a frequency of 3Hz, with 10 days worth of power reserve and 314 parts. The case comes in 18-carat rose gold, with some black sections made from ruthenium, and is 32.4mm wide, 52.5mm long, and 18.6mm tall.
While admittedly operating in a different league, the Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe timepiece is just as prohibitively priced as a high-performance luxury vehicle. Highly exclusive and made from the finest materials, this amazing watch would set you back a staggering $430,000.
