TVR Now Accepts Deposits For Its New 2017 Sports Car

British high-end sports car maker TVR is ready to take over the world once again, and to prove it’s reborn, the company is now taking deposits for its upcoming V8 supercar. Last month TVR has revealed just a couple of details about their sports-car revival, stating that it will be designed together with Cosworth and Gordon Murray.

They didn’t expect this announcement to gain too much attention, but the reaction of the public was incredible, and so it should be. That’s why the British automaker now allows fans to make £5,000 or $7,800 deposit to reserve a car from the limited first year of production, believed to be in the “low hundreds”.

It may sound strange to put down a deposit on a car you know nothing about, but if history has tought us anything about TVR is that their vehicles are never boring. Besides, a £5,000 deposit isn’t much for a decent petrol-head, especially if you plan on becoming a member of the exclusive TVR Car Club.

Furthermore, anyone who’s been a member for more than 6 months gets to put only £2,500 on the line. Please note that the car will be powered by a Cosworth developed, naturally-aspirated V8 engine. That sounds exciting, right?
