As we’ve found out last year, a tree-house hotel was built in Sweden, including a reportedly called Mirrorcube room, which was maybe the top notch feature of the place. The mirrory creation can now be built everywhere on Earth, courtesy of the company that built the Treehotel.
The fancy Mirrorcube room can be set in living trees, or via a specialized anchoring system. It’ll take four months to be delivered, with the approval of Treehotel, regarding the location. Made mainly of aluminum and wood, the project sports inner lighting, furniture and in-floor electric heating, while its bathroom includes an electric “freeze toilet”, resembling a composting toilet, and a “water-efficient” sink.
Designed by the Sweden-based architecture brand Bolle Tham & Martin Videgård, the entire construction and its inners are some interesting spots to spend your private time at, or, why not, along with your family. It can reportedly accommodate up to 4 persons and has a term of validity of 30-years.
Fortunately, flying animals, insects or birds won’t go bumping into the mirrory exterior panels, as the contraption has been equipped with an infrared film, laid across the grass. The infrared specter cannot be detected by humans, but can be easily seen by birds.
In order to extend this project, the company being TreeHotel is currently looking for resellers. Furthermore, the prices for such a nice amenity aren’t represented by exact numbers, as they’re very dependable on customization features, location, transport and a whole list of different parameters. But it’s rather interesting, to say!
