Ferrari LaFerrari Cavallo Infernale

You should really mark August 16th on your calendar, since that is the day this stunning Ferrari LaFerrari will be auctioned at the Monterey Car Week & Concours d’Elegance. If you don’t understand all this excitement,  we should tell you we’re not dealing with a standard example of the Italian manufacturer’s first hybrid model, as the supercar before you is really exclusive.

One of only three LaFerrari supercars finished in a breathtaking Nero DS Opaco matte black paint, this vehicle benefits from a small metal label at the base of the steering wheel: “Cavallo Infernale,” or “horse from hell”, and judging by the looks of things, this beast will be difficult to tame.

With just 211 miles (340 kilometers) on the clock, this ravishing LaFerrari features Pirelli P-Zero tires, Brembo ceramic brakes and various other F1-inspired technologies that made the LaFerrari famous when it was first introduced – and ever since. Among them we should also mention the HY-KERS Kinetic Energy Recovery System, the seven-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, and the F1 electronic traction control system.

Powered by a hybrid system, combining a 6.3-liter V12 with an electric motor, the Ferrari LaFerrari Cavallo Infernale has 949 hp (698 kW) to play with, only to out official numbers to the test: 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.4 seconds. Can you afford to do that? Feel free to find out this August.
