Even though it’s not as imposing as many other 5-star luxury hotels we’ve featured on Luxatic, the super small, yet extremely charming Ziller Lodge is a very desirable destination, especially if you love skiing or golfing in the heart of the mountains.
Complemented by the stunning surroundings of the Austrian Alps, the Ziller Lodge welcomes its guests within a luxurious wooden roost, with only four unique suites and a cozy double room on offer. Staying here is obviously an exclusive luxury and regardless of season or calendar date, this small package makes for a delicious treat.
Located right on the 4th tee of the Zillertal Golf course in Uderns, this extraordinary lodge is probably the perfect place to recharge your batteries once the outdoor activities have tired you up.
The suites here feature low-key, tasteful design flourishes, with romantic fireplaces and modern amenities that go hand in hand with expansive views over the golf course and of course, the breathtaking mountains.
Forget all about clubs and other socializing areas here, as the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen and Spieljoch ski areas are just a few minutes away and offer the chance of experiencing some of Europe’s most picturesque winter sports.
You could also head out to Zillertal Therme for a quick swim in a lovely indoor pool but you’ll want to be back to the Ziller Lodge as soon as possible. The lodge’s pine sauna and wellness biotope will prove to be an incredible aid in relaxation and health. I’m inclined to ignore Spring, just to visit this place; am I the only one?
