The 61 meter long Lady Kathryn V has been cruising the seas and oceans of the world for more than one year now. Having been delivered to its generous owners in last year’s July, this superyacht has seen the Bahamas, the Mediterranean, the Baltic and everything along the respective route.

The strongest point of this vessel is the contrast between its sleek lines and the lavish interiors. Lady Kathryn came out so well because it was developed by a team consisting of the captain, the yacht broker and the build engineer. Now part of the Lürssen fleet, the exterior was designed by Espen Øino by combining sleekness with luxury and high performance with sexy curves, while the interiors were penned down by Jack Fhillips and Lay Studio.

The interior spaces are extremely cozy and welcoming, superbly decorated and crafted from the finest of materials. The builders have used maple, anegre, walnut and oak to imply exquisiteness. The richness of the details is absolutely astonishing, while the color palettes are inviting and warm, consisting of shades of white, cream and all sorts of bluish tones.

The superyacht comprises two main entrances, the first found on the main aft deck, connecting the lounging area and the large al fresco spot with a huge dining table that can accommodate up to 12 guests, while the second one is located in the central lobby, through a majestic spiraling staircase which connects the bridge decks, the main deck and the lower deck.

One of the most superb areas on Lady Kathryn V is the main saloon, which boasts with an opposing setting of two lounging areas, with cozy sofas and armchairs placed around classy coffee tables. The central section between the lounging arrangements is occupied by a Steinway grand piano and a starboard bar. The main saloon is connected to the adjacent formal dining room via the aforementioned central section, while separable sliding doors can close the dining spot up.

The central lobby is designed to resemble an atrium, letting tons of natural light to protrude and glitter on the lacquered surfaces. The stone flooring is one of the most stunning features here, decked with a compass motif, while superb bronze sculptures top onyx columns. In addition, adjacent to the central lobby, an elevator eases the access between the superyacht’s decks.

The Chippendale-style owner’s private saloon is reachable via the light-flooded study. It is separated from the owner’s stateroom by sliding doors, providing a higher dose of privacy. One of the most welcoming areas aboard, the stateroom and the connected master lobby, are designed in the same warm theme as the ship’s interiors, with blue and crème tones throughout.

Lady Kathryn V can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests throughout the 6 suites it comprises, with the owner’s suite included. Four of them, all doubles, are located on the lower deck, with two queen size beds aft and two king size beds fore, while the fifth cabin, in fact a lavish VIP suite, is located on the bridge deck, adjacent to the central lobby.

A movie theatre area and a saloon have combined in order to form a superb, top notch entertainment quarters. This cinema-like area sports two large, cozy L-shaped sofas, which face a wide flat screen TV. On the sides of the TV sliding doors clear the access towards the bridge deck saloon. The sun deck can be accessed via a staircase that leads up from the bridge deck lobby. Garnished with white marble, the area boasts a gym, sauna, a lavish lounging spot, steam shower and a large Jacuzzi fore.

The superb Lady Kathryn V is currently available for charter via Moran Yacht & Ship.
