It was almost one year ago when we’ve first presented a timepiece from Blancpain dedicated to the famous Saint-Valentine’s Day. The famous manufacturer of luxury timepieces is quite renowned for its dedication towards such celebrations, perfect gifts to present to your beloved lady.
During the beginning of 2011, Blancpain has unveiled a diamond-studded minimalistic model, whereas in 2012 they’ve opted for a white chronograph version. This year they’ve chosen to unveil a limited edition series finished with five red-lacquered mother-of-pearl marquetry hearts across a flawless mother-of-pearl dial.
The same heart motif has been implemented by the model’s creators onto the strap lining, case band and rotor. In addition, the superb wristwatch has been garnished with two rows of full-cut diamonds which beautify the bezel and a white ostrich leather strap, extremely eye-catching. On the technical side, the watch features a 34 mm steel case and encompasses a self-winding Calibre 1150.
The Blancpain Ultraplate Saint-Valentin 2013 will reportedly be manufactured as a limited edition of 99 pieces and comes in a white wooden presentation box embellished with white hearts which resemble those on the timepiece’s dial.
