Brazilian shipyard Intermarine has created an excellent new speed boat. Dubbed the Intermarine 48 Offshore, the vessel was designed by Viviane Nicoletti and Matheus Santiago, and has earned the shipyard a Golden A’ Design Award in Yacht and Marine Vessel Design Competition 2015.
According to the design team, the challenge was to create the ultimate high speed boat, and it clearly looks like they have succeeded. Inspired by the dynamic lines of high-end sports cars, Intermarine 48 is a sleek and powerful boat, but also offers her owners quite a few luxurious elements, like the upholstery and the teak flooring applied throughout the deck.
The vessel’s exterior has a swimming platform, solarium, cabinet (with barbecue grill, cooktop, sink, and refrigerator) – making this a great spot to enjoy life at sea – when you’re not speeding over the surface of the water, that is! Powered by either twin MAN R6800 or twin Volvo Penta D11725 engines, the boat can reach a top speed of 56 knots or 45 knots, respectively.
The excellent Intermarine 48 Offshore speedboat made its debut during the end of last year, at the São Paulo Boat Show.
