What better way to start the week than daydreaming about your favorite destination and some good weather? Better yet, the brilliant team from Ferretti Yachts has unveiled the first unit of the new Ferretti Yachts 500, making sure we can all dream about this stunning vessel as well, while imagining how we can enjoy life to its fullest next year.
The result of a collaboration between Piero Ferrari’s Product Strategy Committee, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, Italian yacht designer Filippo Salvetti, who imagined for the exteriors of this vessel, and IdeaeItalia, the design firm in charge of the new interior concept, this vessel has plenty going for itself – and we haven’t even discussed any of its features yet.
Well, we can start with this: it looks absolutely stunning! Coming in at 15.33 meters in length (around 50 ft), this yacht puts out a familiar vibe while being as comfortable as the brand’s larger projects. On the outside, the new 500 motor yacht shows off an aerodynamic design, with streamlined styling, while benefitting from generous areas and large windows.
The main deck invites passengers to enjoy a spacious lounge area, with comfy sofas and a modern table with a stainless steel base. The stern swim platform, featuring optional steps when submerged and fitted with a cool generation lift system is another highlight of this yacht.
The cockpit area is where everyone aboard is welcomed to relax. The flybridge features an aft dining area, furnished with a C-shaped sofa that extends on both sides, while the huge sun pad on the starboard was fitted with a double backrest for maximum comfort. Are you feeling overwhelmed yet?
On the lower deck, Ferretti Yachts made sure customers may choose one of two different layouts: one with a spacious master cabin and a VIP cabin, both with a private bathroom and small laundry, and the other choice including a smaller master cabin, a VIP cabin, and a double with two single beds and two bathrooms. Which one do you prefer?
The full-beam master cabin from the first layout could make your choice very difficult. It has a mirror behind the bed that stretches across the entire width of the cabin, a 43-inch TV and various other seductive design choices can be found here.
Speaking of choices, the first unit of Ferretti Yachts 500 features cool decor elements inspired by the colors of Santorini and furnishings such as Graniti Fiandre, Galassia and OML, Pellini lacquered Venetian blinds, and much more. Had enough?
The new Ferretti Yachts 500 comes packing a pair of Cummins QSB 6.7 engines, each of them good for 550 ponies and able to deliver an impressive top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots – promising optimized fuel consumption.
