Spotted on the streets of Milano just a couple of days ago, the lovely Italdesign Giugiaro GEA concept could literally take your breath away. It’s an amazing concept car that oozes elegance from every inch of its body, and it’s supposed to show us how future luxury autonomous cars might look like.
Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last month, this beauty rides on huge 26 inch 60-spoke wheels and looks even better in the metal than in the first official photos we’ve seen with it. We don’t know yet if it will ever go into production, but we really hope that’s going to happen in the near future because this ride is just a treat for our eyes.
Italdesign Giugiaro always manage to impress us with their unique projects and creativity, and the GEA concept stole the show in Geneva. It weights more than 2,000 kg and it’s 5.37 meter long, with a massive 3.33 meter wheelbase that makes this autonomous sedan pretty big. But its large proportions are perfectly balanced by the curvaceous design which is definitely a work of art.
The Italdesign Giugiaro GEA concept is powered by four electric motors, combining for a massive power output of 775 PS which should be enough to take this beast to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). It will support inductive charging so when its batteries are depleted you could recharge them wirelessly. We’ll leave these photos do the rest of the talking for us.
