Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has added its latest chronograph to the Master Compressor Extreme LAB. Called (rather unimaginatively, one might say) the Master Compressor Extreme LAB 2, it is a timepiece which brings together high-end materials and design, which combine to form something that is truly spectacular.
The case is fashioned from TiVan15, a particularly light and durable titanium alloy exclusive to Jaeger-LeCoultre. Furthermore, the watch is fitted with a high-tech ultra scratch- resistant ceramic bezel, while the pushpieces are coated with rubber grooves and serve as a crown guard. However, what really makes this watch special is the fact that it is equipped with an all-new mechanical chronograph movement which the wearer can take with him in even the most extreme environments. Its features include the time, date and GMT functions, as well as a power reserve indicator which can be read radially along the top section of the dial and a vertical clutch column wheel chronograph.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Extreme LAB 2 will set you back a hefty $55,500 (and that’s excluding VAT!).
