H. Moser & Cie. has recently introduced an “XL” version of its classy Venturer Small Seconds watch, showing off 43 mm of incredible attention to detail and, of course, stylish looks. Inspired by the convex shapes of the 1960s, the Venturer collection is now one of the brand’s most defining projects.
The new XL Small Seconds features a white gold case, a sky-blue fumé dial and a kudu raw leather strap with green lining that just completes the entire picture. It isn’t difficult to fall in love with this one, that’s for sure. Elegant and funky at the same time, the watch stays true to its strong and admirable technical heritage, while turning heads wherever it may tick, with its incredible sense of youth and vibrancy.
The thin bezel, curved dial, baton indices and tapered leaf-shaped hands are easily recognizable features, especially by dedicated fans of the H. Moser & Cie brand. The in-house, hand-wound HMC 327 calibre is one of the brand’s less elaborate movements, so it’s more than capable of handling its business.
In case you’re curious, you should know that the Venturer Small Seconds XL is priced at US$23,800 and if you can’t afford it, I’m sorry to have made you life a little bit more difficult. However, such craftsmanship should not be ignored.
