One of the world’s most renowned tequila distillers, DeLeón Tequila, has recently come up with a staggering liquor that not only boasts exquisiteness, exclusivity and a magnificent taste, but also a name to match its sturdy character – Leóna.
This gorgeous drink is made of hundred percent pure blue weber agave alongside the purest water of Mexico, drawn from DeLeón’s three natural spring wells. It is distilled in a white glove facility of DeLeón and then aged for 34 months in wine barrels – not just any barrels, but the legendary French Sauternes.
Leóna brags with an intense spirit, powerful, full of character, with complex notes of honey, citrus, vanilla, oak, caramel and dried fruit, matching the aromas of the most precious cognacs and expensive scotches out there. Now, as a last touch, add some rich flavors of mature agave, and the result will be pretty extraordinary.
Presentation-wise, the crown jewel of DeLeón, the Limited Edition Leóna by DeLeón Tequila is delivered in a limited edition black box with python flask. Each 75 cl bottle boasts a price tag of $825. Pretty expensive, isn’t it?
