Though not yet released as a stand-alone motorcycle, the specialists from Ducati unveiled the first photos of their most recent “baby”. We’re talking about the 2012 Streetfighter 848, a motorbike that combines extreme beauty, high performance and a generous dose of adrenaline.
The bike runs thanks to an 848 Testastretta 11o motor and relies on a Trellis frame with 848EVO – based geometry. The bike’s performance needs to blend with the level of control, thus ensuring a high level of safety, comfort and stability.
There are four main factors that have major contribution in the bike’s stunning character: the upright riding position, the easy handling thanks to its state-of-the-art frame, the Testastretta 11o engine that ensures power, progressivity and user-friendliness, plus the Ducati Traction Control.
Once it will be released to retailers worldwide it’ll be available in Dark Stealth, red and Fighter Yellow. It appears to be a mean beast in the photos. Can’t wait to check it on the go!
