Chopard Happy Diamonds

Chopard’s most iconic ladies watch collection, Happy Diamonds, has received a couple of gorgeous new additions this year, unveiled right at Baselworld. The Swiss watchmaker has retouched the iconic timepiece that was introduced 40 years ago but did you know that the first Happy Diamonds watch was actually designed for men?

The original diamond-studded timepiece by Chopard showed off a large 18-carat white gold case, centered by a black dial. And now, inspired by the shape of the original watch from this collection, Chopard has launched a series of beautiful watches for women, with diamonds set against a textured white mother-of-pearl background.

If you want to know more things about the beginning of the Happy Diamonds collection, you should know that back in the 1970s, Chopard designer Ronald Kurowski came across a lovely waterfall, while walking around the woods.

Enchanted by the thousands of tiny water droplets bursting out from it, this vision gave birth to the Happy Diamonds concept. The first Chopard Happy Diamonds timepiece, with moving diamonds, adorned its very first wrist shortly after.

This time, the designers at Chopard have made sure the ladies will enjoy more diamonds than ever before, making these watches a mesmerizing fashion statement. Sitting beautifully on any wrist, the Happy Diamonds watches are a true must have for all free-spirited women.
