“Electric supercar” doesn’t sound quite so strange anymore! Just this summer, we’ve presented the Exagon Furtive eGT and the Renovo Coupe, both powerful vehicles equipped with electric engines. Italian carmaker Tecnicar is also getting in on the action and has designed a high-performance electric coupe, giving it the (rather pretty) name of Lavinia.
The vehicle will get an electric motor which outputs an impressive 800 hp (588 kW), which means it will be able to accelerate from a standstill to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Lavinia’s maximum speed is reportedly somewhere around 186 mph (300 km/h).
Don’t get too excited, though: this awesome electric sports car is still in development and it’s not even certain it will ever be fully functional. More details are expected in the near future. Until then, you can check out some 3D renderings of Tecnicar’s Lavinia in the gallery below.
