Bandit9 is a Beijing-based custom bike manufacturer that challenges the stereotype of low-rate, uninventive ‘Made in China’ products. In fact, their new EVE motorcycle seems to be quite the opposite, a high-end, powerful machine with an eye-catching, futuristic design.
The custom-made bike is equipped with either a 90cc or a 125cc engine based on the 1967 Honda SS powerplant. Ukrainian fashion designer Konstantin Kofta collaborated with the bike manufacturer in the aesthetic department, and as it often happens, this unlikely pairing has yielded something really beautiful. EVE features a chrome-finished steel unibody with bronze accents and is completely ‘naked,’ i.e. there’s no windshield or fairings of any kind – just the sleek silhouette of a motorbike straight out of a sci-fi flick. Among its more notable components one can count quartz glass brake lights, custom exhaust, and a modified back set, as well as the cattle skin leather seat.
