Beloved actor and comedian Steve Martin bought this intriguing Montecito mansion 10 years, but now seems to feel it is time to move on, so he has placed his home on the market.

Designed by famed American architect Roland E. Coate, Jr. the house is located at the heart of almost six acres of real estate in one of Santa Barbara’s most coveted areas. Thanks to its excellent position overlooking the surroundings, the new owners will also get some pretty impressive ocean views, in addition to all the comforts this high-end home offers.

The 7,700 square-foot concrete mansion has something of a bunker vibe about it, as it is embedded into the hillside – but make no mistake, the interior is as luxurious as they get. The home features four well-appointed bedrooms, but the property also has a detached guest house and even a swimming pool.

Martin, who in addition to his great work as a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor is also a multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning musician, is selling his estate for $11 million.
