Jaeger-LeCoultre’s wonderful Duomètre line isn’t something new, but it seems it was time for a quick refresh. As such, we are now staring at three newly darkened models, specifically the lovely Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Spherotourbillon, the classic Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Quantième Lunaire, and the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Chronographe watch.
Initially launched back in 2007, the Duomètre collection has become a successful platform that showcases the brand’s innovation and creative abilities, which complement a traditional or complex wristwatch. For the end of this year, the renowned watchmaker has decided to add a dark gray magnetite dial on three classic Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre models in pink gold, an awesome move in our books.
The contrast between the hands, the dial layout, and the metal elements has an incredible effect on us. All three models will feature a 42mm case and hand-wound mechanical movements based on Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Dual Wing Concept.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Chronographe makes use of the JLC calibre 380, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Quantième Lunaire uses the calibre 381 with full time, while the calibre 382-based Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Spherotourbillon features a beautifully animated spherical tourbillon.
Pricing details are as follows: the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Chronographe will set you back AU$63,000, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Quantième Lunaire costs AU$56,000, while the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Spherotourbillon comes with a whopping €222,000 price-tag. What a blow!
