Star Wars Land

Star Wars fans have more than one reason to celebrate these days, as Walt Disney and Lucasfilm has announced their latest plans for the popular franchise at the D23 EXPO 2015. Coming soon in a Disney Park not so far away from you, the Star Wars Lands have just been announced for Walt Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland in Anaheim.

These incredible new worlds will represent the largest single themed land expansions Disney has ever had at 14 acres each. First coming at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, these breathtaking lands will transport guests to a whole new Star Wars planet, and allow fans to really experience that universe while in the midst of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

The Star Wars Lands will be occupied by many inhabitants, from humanoids to aliens and droids, just minding their own business and walking around the land to make us all go “wow”. For instance, the Cantina concept art teased with a water tank with an alien swimming around inside, which is something we’d totally love to see live.

Popgear have a range of Star Wars clothing that’s just perfect for your first visit to this mesmerizing theme park. Moreover, it seems that Lucasfilm, Disney’s Imagineers, and ILM are all collaborating on the project, and they’re already casting actors for roles in the park.

These Star Wars themed lands will have several signature attractions, like taking over one of the most recognizable ships in the galaxy, the Millennium Falcon, or starting in an epic adventure which puts visitors in the middle of a galactic battle. May the Force be with you!

About Victor Baker

Victor has always been a big fan of cars, which is why he’s so proud to call himself a genuine petrolhead these days. His love actually stemmed from his father, who was an automotive engineer. Today, he loves to write down everything that comes to mind, car-related or not, and when he really gets down to it, he pretty much becomes one with his laptop.
