The Salvator Villas & Spa Hotel was inspired by famous explorer and conservationist Archduke Ludwig Salvator, who lived most of his life near the Mediterranean shores, in Majorca. The entire complex is built amphitheater-style on a hill overlooking Kyperi, offering amazing views of the olive groves and the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos, set against the backdrop that is the Ionian Sea.

Both the interior and the exterior are the work of designer Angelos Angelopoulos, whose aim was to bring a bit of the landscape into the interior design. This is apparent in the abundant use of green for the interior, while the stone walls are perfectly in tune with the rest of the building on the island. The rooms themselves also follow the green and white color scheme, with much of the furniture also created by Angelos Angelopoulos especially for this resort.

In addition to the serenely beautiful surroundings and elegant accommodations, the resort also offers its guests a wonderfully decorated spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, hammam, and even a fully equipped gym.
