As the 180th anniversary of Jaeger-LeCoultre has come, the world-famous watchmaker has recently put together a series of particularly exquisite timepieces, topped by a splendid reinterpretation of the Reverso Cordonnet from 1936.
The Swiss manufacturer of high-end luxury timepieces is renowned not only for the stunning performance they input into the pieces but also for the great job they’re doing when setting them with all sorts of precious and rare gems. Today’s star for example, the Reverso Cordonnet Duetto wristwatch, has been garnished with 1,250 diamonds – it has clearly been transformed into a mind-bogglingly precious, blinding, exponentially glamorous thing of beauty to decorate a lucky girl’s wrist.
The timepiece boasts with a diamond-set cord displaying two different dials and a brilliant white gold case fully embellished with diamonds. The rear face of the watch shares a blue dial, while the front face is superbly set with numerous diamonds. Both the dials are powered by the same, single mechanical movement.
In order to further enhance the importance and glamour of this event, German model-actress Diane Kruger has been pictured wearing the watch. Jaeger-LeCoultre and her have also showcased, in New York, on the 6th of May, the film entitled “Reinvent Yourself”. The movie also celebrates the meeting between Diane Kruger and Jaeger-LeCoultre back in the 2009-film Libre (stand for “Free”).
