Ralph Lauren’s Watch and Jewelry Division has recently unveiled the brand’s all-new 2016 collection of timepieces, offering news sizes for the iconic Automotive and 867 lines, as well as a brand new series called RL888, which is dedicated exclusively to women.
Blending style and elegance, Ralph Lauren’s 888 Collection also honors the designer’s flagship store at 888 Madison Avenue in New York, reflecting a daring sophistication, just like the brand’s vision about the stylish woman of today. The new 888 watches are all sleek and thin, and will be offered in just two sizes: 32 mm and 38 mm.
The creative appeal of this collection is undeniable, especially since it features interchangeable straps in a painter’s palette of rich and diverse hues, plus a wide range of materials, from alligator to patent leather, grosgrain or satin. Chic ladies may also go for a supple metal link bracelet, depending on the occasion or event.
These watches are all powered by quartz movements and will be offered in polished stainless steel or 18-karat rose gold cases. Future customers will also have to choose between a plain bezel or one set with diamonds, with either a diamond- or amethyst-set crown finishing off the impressive aesthetics.
Ralph Lauren’s carefully curated collection of fine timepieces for ladies is boasting with Swiss craftsmanship, while also being pretty affordable, at least for some people. A while ago, the renowned brand has also released an automotive-inspired jewel, the RL Automotive Skeleton watch, which was crafted in black steel and featured a burl wood bezel.
Powered by a mechanical manual-wind movement made by Jaeger-LeCoultre and complemented by a Smoky sapphire crystal caseback, this watch retails for $15,400 – but you’ll have to wait until October to enjoy one. Until then, ladies could get their hands on one of these gorgeous watches from the 888 collection.
