Just a couple of months ago we’ve written about Le Palais Royal, a fabulous Florida mansion which, with its price tag of $139 million, was touted as the most expensive real estate listing in the United States. Now another property on the side of the country is set to blow that record out of the water.

The Beverly Hills mansion is dubbed Palazzo di Amore (Italian for Palace of Love) and was purchased from a Saudi businessman in 2007 by billionaire real estate investor Jeff Greene, who also got married there that year – hence the name. The estate can only be described as sumptuous: it is a 25-acre compound comprising 53,000 square-feet of living space which includes no fewer than 12 bedrooms and 23 bathrooms divided across several buildings. The main home is a palatial 35,000 square-foot Mediterranean-style mansion, while another, 15,000 square-foot edifice is a veritable entertainment center, with a bowling alley, a theater 50-seat with a dressing room, and even a disco with a rotating dance floor. Other notable facilities include a Turkish spa and a mesmerizing 128-foot-long reflecting pool.

Jeff Greene bought the estate out of receivership for $35 million while it was still under construction and subsequently spent about $25 million to complete the building. The asking price set for the recently finished property is a staggering $195 million.
