Montecito, California is the place where the famous Oprah Winfrey has decided to settle in, buying a marvelous property in one of the wealthiest communities in the United States. The newest resident on the block has recently purchased the beautiful Seamair Farm for a cool $29 million.
Located at 380 Santa Rosa Lane, just in case you’re thinking of paying Oprah a visit, this stunning property includes 23-acre of land, centered around a gorgeous 4,750 sq ft. home that’s complemented by a pool, a koi pond, a manager’s cottage, covered patios and decks.
Horse-related features include a stable, barn, riding rings and paddocks and what’s even more interesting is that the estate pulls water from two separate wells, which is convenient for a region experiencing drought. Oprah fell in love with the single-level, ranch-style home, designed by the renowned architect Cliff May.
It has four spacious bedrooms and four lovely fireplaces inside, featuring all amenities the star would ever need. Although not as glamorous as you’d’expect, this property is truly nice and offers a quiet, country-like escape from hustle of the celebrity’s everyday life.
The Seamair Farm isn’t Oprah’s first Montecito residence, nor the largest. But I’d definitely take it off her hands, if she were to find herself in a giving mood.
