A few months ago, we’ve shown you an Italian-made furniture collection which glows in the dark. It seems there’s something very alluring in illuminating furniture to Italians, as Padua-based Studio Thesia Progetti actually designed another such piece for Natevo.
This enthralling armchair is called Nuvola di Luce (which translates to Cloud of Light) and is certain to create a charming and relaxing atmosphere in whichever space it is placed. The Natevo armchair is made from an elastic mesh covering a steel frame, with a floor-level luminous panel providing all the magic. It is available in three colors, white, black, and natural, and with either a warm or a colder light. There’s even a version without the light fittings, for those who just want a regular armchair.
It’s highly unlikely, however, that anyone will go for the regular version, with Nuvola di Luce being such a fascinating piece. A comfortable piece of furniture that also illuminates and thus enhances any room it’s in isn’t exactly something you roll your eyes at.
The price for the illuminating Nuvola di Luce armchair is $1,535, with another $120 added to the final cost if you want a remote control for the light.
